if you have a Panasonic cordless phone, you NEED this!
Don’t bother with the fancier models of the Panasonic headsets. This bare-bones model has all you need. So it doesn’t have volume adjustment or a mute button. Who cares? Your phone should already have those features. Besides, that redundancy would weigh down the entire unit. Also, this headset is very inexpensive to own, so those unnecessary features would drive up the price, which would not be a good thing.

If you own a Panasonic cordless phone, this headset works best with these phones. I own many Plantronics-brand headsets, which are excellent on my cell phone, but horrible on my Panasonic cordless phone. Callers constantly complain that I sound very far away. But then I bought this Panasonic-brand headset and callers hear me very clearly. Ordinarily, I’d be annoyed at having had to buy an additional headset for my Panasonic phone, but it was so cheap that I really don’t mind. Now I’ve got an extra headset that I can use in my car! An added bonus is that this Panasonic also works really well with my cell phone, so if I had to choose one, I’d ditch my more more expensive Plantronics headset since that only works well on the cell. But, it’s important to note that the Panasonic headset is not that portable so I’m not throwing away anything just yet.

A good basic headset
I am using mine with a GE 26977GE6 phone, which came with a somewhat uncomfortable street-style headset. The Panasonic KX-TCA60 headset is much louder and clearer. I did not realize how poor the stock headset was until I tried these Panasonics. My only problem with these is that the volume is a bit too loud, even at the lowest phone volume. Otherwise, this headset is great.

Update May 2009:
After many years I’m still using these. A couple have broken on me with no easy way to fix them, but they are cheap enough to be considered a disposable product. These days I have a second pair on standby because I’m pretty sure I’ll snap the headband on my current pair eventually.

Wow!!!! best damn headset ever
Excellent reception on my end, and the folks on the other end always say I sound loud and clear. What more could you want? Oh yeah, it’s very comfortable too! Believe me, I’ve tried lots of headsets, and the quality on this Panny set blows away every other one I’ve tried — and the price/value ratio is just off the charts.

I just ordered my sixth set. I use them on my home cordless phones and on my cellphones. I’ve given a couple away to friends, like the gideons give away bibles — because I’m a true believer! I keep two in the house (one for each cordless phone — makes for some awesome conference calls) and one in the car for the cellphone, and one for a spare just in case, because I don’t want to live without them!

Honestly, I’d gladly pay $40 for a set this quality. To get it at this price makes me believe that all may be right in the universe after all.

L-O-V-E This Headset!
Jawbone Rocks!

Good: Unparralleled noise cancelling technology, voice tells you how much talk time is left, great invisible style and I haven’t yet tried the voice dial apps.
Better next time: I’ll buy a different color, it is too easy to lose the black/white combo – this headset is beautiful and tiny, I need a different color so I can spot it better when I put it down.

I was skeptical about paying big bucks for a headset, but I was more tired of my spouse constantly griping that he could not hear me on my previous headsets (Jabra and Plantronics mid-price products). This headset is worth every penny! Noise cancelling technology is excellent. I had to take a business call in the middle of a P.F. Chang’s lunch (P.F.’s is the most acoustically deafening place outside of a hammer testing factory). My callers thought I was in my office! Even hubby has stopped complaining (worth the dough just for that :) )

Comes with numerous options to attach to your ear and for me the ‘in ear’ one works fine and does not fall out. Love this headset – I’m Jawbone from now on!

Great Redesign
I have owned all of the Jawbone models since the first. All are small and I have lost several. I now carry it in a separate zipper case with my phone number inside.

I had difficulty with some previous models. I never could get a comfortable fit with the wire ear loops. Later I learned to use only the rubber ear piece.

The greatest problem with previous models was the use of the pressure sensitive areas of the Jawbone. Reaching to adjust the position during a phone call would sometimes terminate the call or to turn off the Bluetooth connections. Also pressure on it in my small case would sometimes turn it “On” depleting the battery.

The redesign of the Icon has solved these problems as well as improving noise cancellation.

For me the greatest improvement has been the elimination of the pressure sensitive points.

The Icon now has a small sliding switch on the inside surface. Sliding this switch, showing a blue dot, automatically connects the Bluetooth feature of the phone. In addition, pressing a small pressure switch on the top surface next to the ear, allows a voice to announce the remaining talk time available.

Other features include a redesigned charger.

I have also found that the Icon is louder than my Nokia phone earpiece permitting easily heard phone calls in a noisy environment.

Jawbone has corrected and improved on their design to the point that I can not find any problems.

Phenomenal device
Broke my old jawbone and did an investigation of current BT headsets on the market. It seemed that the Jawbone was still the one to beat, so I decided to grab the new Icon model. Found the best price on Amazon.

I use it every day. I love having the on-off switch so I’m not having to recharge the thing quite as often. I used to have some occasional problems with the older one staying seated in my ear and I did break a number of the ear loops. The new Icon is very light and with the ear buds they provide, I now no longer need to use the ear loops. This one fits very comfortably in my ear and it stays there.

All in all, it’s an excellent set of improvements over the previous generation, which IMO, was already the best on the market.

Quality headphones
I was looking to get WESC headphones but after a good amount of reviews I went with these. For $35 headphones they are increadible, the bass and tones are so clear. These are one of the best headphones you will buy for less than $100. Plus the design is very cool. Just wish they had more colors. But I would recommend these to anybody.

Don’t do it…
These were definitely and impulse buy for me. I pretty much bought them because they look sick…. However, the sound quality is terrible. Also, your music bleeds soooo badly. Every one around you will literally be able to hear the same terrible sound quality you are listening to when using these. They were pretty comfy, I guess, but they were too loose on my head and would fall off easily. They also felt very flimsy as if they were going to break in half at any moment. If you’re planning on buying these, I would recommend you do a little more research.

I JUST GOT IT TODAY AND I LOVE IT !! THE COLOR IS AWESOME PLUS WITH THE GREAT SOUND !! STILL, IT HAS SOME NOISE WHEN MAXIMUM THE VOLUME. BUT OVERALL, I STILL LOVE THIS HEADPHONE, WORTH EVERY PENNY !!
